In order to blend in with modern-day designs, we combined the Persian classic oil lamp with a delicate and lasting meenakari art. This item is made of brass, on which the artisanal art of Persian minakari is depicted.
An additional layer of polyester coating is applied to make sure this beautiful piece will remain beautiful for many years to come.

Since gas light was considered to be a luxury of the wealthy throughout the 19th century, and electric lighting had yet to catch on in rural areas by the late 1800s, kerosene lamps and oil lamps were mostly used. Kerosene and oil lamps can even be used as emergency lamps even after electrification.
As with candles, oil is used to power the device, but the oil is liquid at room temperature, requiring a container. Textile wicks are dropped into the oil and ignited at the end, drawing up the oil and burning it.
Oil lamp with Persian heritage, the Brass Oil Lamp HC-1004 was embellished using the traditional Minakari technique, where vibrant colors were applied to the metal surface. Aside from its decorative uses, this technique can also be used to beautify functional objects.
Addition, removal, or reshaping of metal surfaces can be done in surface finishing in order to give them a specific appearance. This enhances their appearance as well as protects them. Finishing will determine how the finished product looks. The color accentuates the finish of brass objects when they are highly polished.
